Summer Time!

We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend, we sold all our baby items, no more high chair, no infant car seat and a lot less baby boy clothes. Victor and Scarlett both fell and got some major scrapes, Keller learned how to ride a big boy bike, and I got slightly depressed about my babies growing up.

We also survived 95 degree weather with no air conditioning!

Here's Victor in our new baby pool. Just to cool off on the deck a little.

His big bruise, he fell down two concrete steps and landed on his forehead. He screamed until he got a piece of ice. I took this tip from my friend Abby, give kids a piece of ice when they are hurt and everything magically goes away. I get out two pieces of ice one for him to play with and one for me to try and put on the 'boo-boo' Cries stop automatically and smiles appear. He had a big bruise but the skin never broke, it was more like a burn from the concrete.

Scarlett was sick this past week. And we're still getting her over the major spoiling she received. She's so sweet when she's sick, just curls up and wants to cuddle. She's still not walking other than 1.5 steps to get spaghetti from Daddy. She'll stand on her own and then fall down to crawl where she wants to go.

There's Keller with his trike, but he learned to ride a big bike (with training wheels) so thats what he's getting for his birthday.

Mawmaw made Victor and Keller blankets and pillows, (Scarlett's is still in the process) but they love them! They kept asking to be covered up and going 'Night-night'. Keller's blanket is Thomas, and Victor has animals that match his room.

We have air conditioning now and we're so glad. Scott finishes school this week and leaves for vacation Wednesday with a friend and I'm taking the kids (along with my parents) to see my sisters.

Some things Keller has been saying "Thats wonderful" when he's excited or 'Wow, Look at that!' when he sees something interesting. He loves anything Cars related and his favorite color is red. He has a lot of trouble listening, but occasionally decides to be a big help around the house. He says 'air tonditoter' for air conditioner. While visiting Granny and Grandpa he kept asking for Scott and I to leave, he wanted to play with Granny without us. He goes to the bathroom completely by himself,  he can get a drink from the fridge and a snack by himself. He gets dressed most of the way. He gets his shorts and underwear on backwards sometimes and struggles with his shirt. He called me Mom this weekend and I corrected him, "I'm Mommy not Mom' Just not ready to be 'Mom' I'd like to stick with 'Mommy' for a bit longer.
