House Pictures!

Saturday afternoon Victor and Keller were good little boys who took their afternoon naps. Scarlett took her only nap of the day in one hour. So we traveled out to the new house and I finally remembered my camera. 

Scarlett immediately took to playing in the living room floor with new toys. 

This is our desk area in our kitchen. You can see the corner of our island and the two tall cabinets will serve as pantrys. They have awesome rolling shelves that either they stuck in for free or we paid for without knowing, since we told the cabinet designer to strip the cabinets bare.

 Here are our French doors that open onto the deck from our dining room.

 Here is my huge island. Haven't they made a mess of my kitchen already!

 I took Scarlett up to her room to look around. Lots of work is needed upstairs, mostly flooring and baseboards and doors. There will be carpet in the kids bedroom. Scarlett is looking at the things we've already bought for her room.

 This is our desk area with the light on, I thought the light looked really pretty against the tile backsplash, but it doesn't look that great in the pictures. Everything looks better in person so you'll have to stop by our house to take a peek.

Thanks for checking in. We're planning to celebrate the twins first birthday in the house and move when everything is finished. We're anxious to move in, but there really is no hurry since the house we have now is serving us just fine. It really is a joy to mop the whole house in 20 minutes on a Saturday morning, I know I won't have that luxury in the new house.
